Oak Haven Park

Unless you live nearby, you probably have not discovered this park. Oak Haven is located in a well established neighborhood not too far from the Northwoods shopping center. There is an abundance of deer as well as other interesting wildlife and a variety of plants. It’s a great place to take the kids for a nature walk. While the trail is doable with a stroller, it might be a tad bumpy in certain areas. I have only ever seen friendly faces here. However, it is rather secluded and has few visitors so be aware of your surroundings. It also has a basketball court, tennis court, baseball field, and picnic tables with grills. There is a water fountain that accommodates pets as well.
