A free alternative to the San Antonio Botanical Garden. Although it is a bit out of the way, Wildseed Farm makes for a neat day trip and is great if you are planning on heading to Fredericksburg. The farm features beautiful gardens and fields of wildflowers. There is also a gift shop and patio. You can enjoy a glass of wine or a beer as well as indulge in homemade icecream or other snacks. They offer lunch items as well. It’s great that there is the option of enjoying the farm for free or purchasing food and drink.
