One of my favorite areas of San Antonio! Pearl Brewery has a wonderfully modern Southtown vibe minus the parking issues. While there are several restaurants and shops in the area, I am mainly focusing on the free aspect of the Pearl Brewery experience. First off, they offer a free parking in the Koehler Garage (Karnes St. & E. Grayson). There are also free parking lots on the east and west side of the Full Goods Building. There is a lot to see walking through the pathways or if you choose to explore Museum Reach along the Riverwalk. (I will do a feature on Museum Reach soon but this is a great point of access in case you are wanting to check it out. The entrance is near La Gloria). There is a small dog park at the intersection of Mueller and Avenue A, across from The Granary.
If you are searching for a place to eat while you are here, La Gloria is a family friendly restaurant. Pricing is reasonable and the patio is an awesome spot to enjoy your meal and the view.
The Pearls Farmers Market is another event I will expound on later but it happens every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
